Weight Class: 3lb (Beetleweight)
Buggy.. where do I begin.. This was probably my favorite bot to drive. After seeing No Doze cram a pair of Mabuchi 550s with a 7:1 planetary into a Beetle, I wanted to see what I could do by cramming everyone’s favorite 12lb drivetrain choice into a 3lb chassis. The result had potential. After a visit with resident evil genius Ty McNeer, the 2nd revision went on to great success, and played foil to a Robot Combat Hall of Fame Honorable Mention, 3PD, and to 2005 National Champion, Buster Blade.
Record between all versions ended up being somewhere around 31-10. This bot was active between 2003 and 2005
